Joint Stock Battery Company "RIGEL" is the industrial plant which has the history lasting more than 100 years, the first battery plant in Russia.

The Company was founded in August, 1897 as Joint Stock Company "Русские аккумуляторные заводы TUDORъ" ("Russian Battery plants TUDOR"). The whole history of battery industry of Russia and CIS countries has been connected with Battery Company "Rigel" development.

Now the Battery Company "RIGEL" is the largest manufacturer of alkaline rechargeable cells and storage batteries in Russia.

The enterprise has all types of licenses and certificates required for realization of works in the field of development, manufacturing, recycling of power sources.

The Company possesses of high scientific and industrial potential that allows to meet rapidly the customers' demands in the field of development and manufacturing of rechargeable cells and storage batteries of any purpose. Today more than one thousand employees work at our enterprise. The factory is placed on the area about 7,5 hectare, and more than 65 thousand sq.m is occupied by the production areas. On the base of the factory the Center Science, Technology and Development has been created. It is united in itself various structural divisions which are engaged both scientific and technical support of full-scale manufactured products, and development of new products practically in all areas of chemical power sources.

Remaining the leader of battery branch during all its history and having more than century experience and technologies of 21st century, Battery Company "RIGEL" successfully introduces today the up-to-date chemical power sources on the world market.
